Message body

Hi,

Does anyone know where RT2 stores the message bodies?

I just convert RT1 to RT2 using import script. It’s done without any
errors in the logs or command lines. But all message bodies are blanked.
Could anyone please help? I am using rt-2-0-7. Only the
transactions shows. Thanks much.

RT2 stores its messages in the db I believe. I’m about to run this import myself, so if you work out where they went to I’d be very interested to know (incase it happens to me!).

They are in the Attachments table. Msg content is in the ‘content’ field.

Dave,

Thanks. For some reasons, my Attachments table is empty after import. I
have practiced this many times with smaller set of data. It only fails
when I use my real RT1 data. I am trying to find out what goes wrong now.

I think that happened to me, too… make sure the path to your
‘transactions’ data is correct in the import script. I think that’s your
trouble.

Best of luck,

Dave

Dave,

Cool. Thanks for the info. I think my path is too deep. My RT1 path was
11 levels. I move it up to a different location that has only 5 levels
deep. And it works now.

FYI.

I also had this issue, bit it turned out to be because the user I ran the import script as didn’t
have read access to the transactions dir. Interestingly the import script didn’t give any errors. On Wed, Sep 19, 2001 at 09:45:06AM -0400, Sherrill (Pei-chih) Verbrugge wrote:
