Mason local files not being used

heya.

I’ve found that one of my files is the mason local directory eg,
$rtbase/local/WebRT/html isn’t being used… I’ve tried stopping and starting
apache, but it still isn’t being used.

Any ideas?

fixed: not sure what was happening, but I just copied the original file back
out and then modified that…-----Original Message-----

I’m speaking WELL beyond my area of expertise here, but…

I’ve noticed that when I create subdirectories in my local mason path,
I also need to create those subdirectories in my normal web path, as
well as the appropriate index.html file where applicable. It appears
that Mason won’t look in a local directory unless it exists in the
normal $rtbase/WebRT/html directory.

So, in order for Mason to look in $rtbase/local/WebRT/html/Matthew, you
would have to also create $rtbase/WebRT/html/Matthew… even though you
would still maintain the local files in the “local” directory. If you
want to use $rtbase/local/WebRT/html/Matthew/index.html, you would have
to simply touch/create $rtbase/WebRT/html/Matthew/index.html.

This wouldn’t happen to be your problem would it? Also, if any of this
is incorrect, someone please chime in with the correct info.

Thanks,
Matt Disney
