Link to a ticket, without ModifyTicket

Hey,

We have a workflow for our change management process that involves moving tickets to a queue that Requestors don’t have ModifyTicket (etc) on the ticket so we can ensure they aren’t changed after a change is approved. This is working fairly well, but I’d like it for our staff to be able to create links to these tickets, but currently they can’t.

Does anyone know of a way that we can do this?

We have the same problem and found no solution yet.

If one wants to refer to other tickets (parent-child, depends-on and so on) he needs the right “ModifyTickt” on both tickets at the moment. (RT 4.4.x)
