LDAP Auth working but not emails

We have successfully set up apache ldap authentication and it works
perfectly. The problem we have run into is that all emails coming into
the box are being rejected due to failed LDAP authentication. Is there
a way to prevent LDAP authentication against the emails coming in?

Best,

Successfully “hacked” around it but that hack exposes a password. Is
there a way to prevent ldap auth on emails altogether
