Iso-8859-1 accented characters problem

FYI, testing the RT 3.0.8 in a lab environment, I’ve
been able to reproduce the following behaviour.

If, in the email subject, there’s any iso-8859-1 accented
character and the Subject string is more than 17 characters
long, the autoreply emails return with an scrambled Subject,
although the Subject mentioned in the body of the email is
correctly displayed.

There’s no problem with the long Subjects, if there’s no
accented characters.

Hello Jesse,

Good news: the problem is only noticed when using the pine email client.
In the RT WebUI and other email clients like Netscape 7.1 and Outlook
Express the messages are displayed correctly. I’m glad to say that it seems
a terminal/pine issue, not a RT one.
