Is there any way to "resolve" a ticket by mail?

Hi,

I’d love to be able to close a ticket automatically by mailing a reply and
answer a support question. I could have an “identity” in my mail program
(MUA), and it could for example add a header that rt checks for.

Has anybody done something like this?

ie, the enhanced mailgate. I know someone is working on porting it to
rt3, but I don’t think they’re done yet. They sentmail about it
sometime in the last month.
