Is priority value is mapped to some strings?

I took details of my ticket from RT using the search API. I got priority value as Zero. Is priority is mapped to some string values? Can someone answer, please?

Depends. If you have 5.x versions, or you used the RT-Extension-PriorityAsString in 3.8/4.x versions you could turn the numeric priorities into strings for display.
