Installing using fastcgi?

hi

due to mod_perl madness i want to install the latest build of rt using
fastcgi. i’ve installed fastcgi into my apache setup, but have no idea
what i need to add to httpd.conf to set up rt using fastcgi – i might
be missing it, but there doesn’t seem to be an example in the docs (as
there is for mod_perl).

if anyone can point me in the right direction, that would be much
appreciated (i’m running apache 1.3.27 on RH7.3)

thanks – that (slightly tweaked for my paths (i’ve installed RT in
/opt/rt3) at least lets me start apahe, but now i get the following in
my apache logs:

Can’t locate /opt/rt3/etc/RT_SiteConfig.pm in @INC (@INC contains:

/usr/local/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.1/i686-linux

fwiw, opt/rt3/etc/RT_SiteConfig.pm exists…

any ideas?

Either your suidperl isn’t working, or you have a permissions
problem. The fcgi handler should be setgid to a group that can
read the RT_SiteConfig.
