How do I unassign a ticket once assigned to a user

Hello,
I have searched the mailing list, but have yet to find an answer. I have
created a ticket, had it assigned to me, but I think would like to be able
to go in and unassign the ticket. I click on the dropdown of users, and the

  • is just not there. I can’t see a way to do that. Can someone point me in
    the correct direction?

Thanks

You’re looking for the user “nobody”

Jim,

You have to steal it first OR give whomever you want to re-assign it the
right to steal.

He owns the ticket, he wants to give it up.

As Nick said, he just needs to give it to Nobody
