Help! RT2+Qmail mailgate problem

I get the following error when I try to send an email to rt to open a ticket

No permission to create tickets in the queue ‘support’.Create failed: 0 /
0 / No permission to create tickets in the queue ‘support’.

I have done the Mail Configuration using the /var/qmail/users/assign method which I resorted to after getting the same errors using the rt-support@xyz.com method as recommended in the docs.

It seems to be a permissions problem. Could anyone tell me what the right ownerships and permissions for the RT2 files are?

Thanks,

Brian

Brian,

I think this is an internal RT permissions issue as opposed to
a UNIX file-permissions problem.

You probably just need to create a couple of RT users (within RT, that
is) that have the permission to create tickets. You may want to give
the Pseudo-Group ‘Everyone’ permission to create tickets. Do you
already have users with permissions to create tickets?

Matt,

that was the gotcha…I can now receive tickets fine.

Thanks a million!
