Just wanted to ask a few general questions about configuring RT.
I should start by saying that currently, we are a company of about 50 employees, but we are growing. I am hoping RT will really make my life a heck of a lot easier now and as time goes on.

Everything is working great. The web interface is up and responding correctly.
First, on my setup. I have setup RT on a private server on our LAN. I have setup sendmail to forward it’s mail to our private mail server, also running sendmail. My question here is, could that pose any problem with RT? Or just being on it’s own server be alright as well?
Queue. I have setup queues but have a few questions.
I want to setup a few queues that can be monitored by a select group of people. With that in mind, I would also like to set it up so if a new ticket is opened up on that queue, the people who can respond to that queue will receive an email notifying them that a new ticket has been generated. Is there a way to do that?
Lastly, is there something else I can use to find out more about the permissions? I have read the .pdf as well as the FAQ, but it is pretty vauge about what each permission does.
