If two people are working the same queue, and one person
grabs a ‘new’ ticket, is that ticket set to ‘open’ with
the act of viewing it in their browser?

Why on earth didn’t you just test it?
Anyway, once you view a ticket it’s status is updated from the db on
loading the new page. In short yes.

Apparently it’s easier to ask, and get advice that might be
wrong…
Anyway, once you view a ticket it’s status is updated from the db on
loading the new page. In short yes.
…such as in this case. Merely viewing a ticket won’t update
its status. Try it and see.
