Fedora perl 5.8.3 update is out

I just did a ‘yum update’ on a fedora box and
it picked up the perl 5.8.3 update and the
matching mod_perl. Running up2date should do
the same.

To follow up on that …

About 10 days ago I picked up the fedora 5.8.3 SRPM from the experimental
directory, and did an rpm --rebuild on a RedHat-7.2 machine. Aside from the
myriad of modules I needed to reinstall, the upgrade was painless and
uneventful (thus far).
