Email error trying to setup email to a Helpdesk queue

HI,

   I have installed RT 3.6.4 on Rhel 4.0 and the web interface

works OK on port 8080.

I am using Postfix as the MTA and Postgresql for the database.

I have added a new queue named HelpDesk. I have created the 2 mail
aliases

for this queue (from the Wiki page (RTsFinallyInstalledNowWhat):

helpdesk: “|/etc/smrsh/rt-mailgate --queue HelpDesk
–action correspond --url http://www.continentalserv.com:8080/

helpdesk-comment: “|/etc/smrsh/rt-mailgate --queue HelpDesk
–action comment --url http://www.continentalserv.com:8080/

I am getting the following error in the system maillog:

Oct 10 11:44:53 WebServer postfix/local[23776]: 87EC3970B3:
to=<helpdesk@continentalserv.com>, relay=local, delay=150802,
delays=150801/0.34/0/0.36, dsn=4.3.0, status=deferred (temporary
failure. Command output: RT server error. The RT server which handled
your email did not behave as expected. It said: Can’t locate object
method “tmp_recycling” via package “MIME::Parser” at
/opt/rt3/lib/RT/EmailParser.pm line 618. Stack:
[/opt/rt3/lib/RT/EmailParser.pm:618]
[/opt/rt3/lib/RT/EmailParser.pm:227]
[/opt/rt3/lib/RT/EmailParser.pm:179]

I have verified with cpan that MIME::Parser is installed and up to
date.

I also ran a make testdeps to verify all required components are
installed.

I have googled this error and also searched the maillist archives with
no solution.

Does someone have some insight as to how I can resolve this error so
that I can

email Helpdesk requests to RT?

HI,

  Best Practical solved my issue.   Apparently the <a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" href="MIME::Parser">MIME::Parser</a>

changed and

removed tmp_recycling, so this was fixed on RT 3.6.5, so I did the
upgrade and

all is well.
