I am using rt44-4.4.3 on FreeBSD, and I have just noticed the following in my daily security report:
p5-Email-Address-1.909: Tag: expiration_date Value: 2018-12-31
p5-Email-Address-1.909: Tag: deprecated Value: Deprecated by upstream
Following the lead I saw that FreeBSD’s mail/p5-Email-Address port is set to expire on 2018-12-31, which is quite close. Email::Address page on metacpan warns about CVE-2015-7686 vulnerability and suggests Email::Address::XS as a replacement.
Is this issue being addressed? Any chance to have this resolved until the end of the year?
