Editing RT_SiteConfig.pm

If I change or add any values to RT_SiteConfig.pm do I need to restart
RT for it to pick up the new values?

If so, how do I do that?

I am new to RT and setting up my first installation and am having a heck
of a time getting the email functionality to work.

Yes.

Usually something along the lines of

service httpd stop

service httpd start

depending on distro.

Thanks for the reply Drew.

I found that you do not need to restart apache (or your web server) for
changes in the RT_SiteConfig.pm file to be picked up. If your experience
is that you do need to restart the web server then that would lead me to
belive that it all depends on what value you change dictates if a
restart is required.
