Editing Current Templates

Hello,

I need to edit one of the current templates that are sent out when
someone creates a ticket in RT. Could I edit the database for the
Template table or would it be better to just create a custom
template? I was reading in the O’Reilly Rt Essentials book that you
should never edit the database. I just need to edit a sentence for
the Default Autoresponse template.

Edit the template via the RT web interface:

Configuration → Global → Templates
