Comparing field values in ticket sql

Hi,

Is it possible to compare field values in ticket sql? For example,
something like:

( Status = ‘new’ OR Status = ‘open’ OR Status = ‘stalled’ ) AND
TimeWorked > TimeEstimated

If I use something like: “TimeWorked > 60”, or "TimeEstimated > 100"
then I get the results I expect - but what I want to do is find
tickets based upon conditions like:

TimeWorked > TimeEstimated
TimeWorked > (TimeEstimated*0.8) #e.g. 80% of estimated time

and so forth

Is this possible?

Thanks,

Chris

TicketSQL does not support this.
You’ll need to use the perl API to further limit.

Thanks Kevin,

are there any examples you can point me at? I’m not a perl programmer,
but have successfully hacked together bits & pieces in the past by
working with other related examples & doco. Also when you say Perl API
do you specifically mean an RT Perl API, or more generically, just
Perl? If an RT : Perl API is there any doco on this and this area?

Thanks,

Chris
