CLI password

Hello.

I just upgraded to RT3.0.6 from RT3.0.3, and I am trying to use the CLI.
When I attempt to run an example command, such as: ./rt list users,

I am prompted for a password. No password that I have in RT or Postgres
works. I get the error:

"rt: Server error: Not Found <404>"

I would appreciate any advice.

Thanks,

Mat

Mat,
Check your webserver error logs. The CLI basically is just another web
interface. I don’t think the problem is the passwords, but that the CLI
is looking for web content which is missing.

The password is the one for the RT user with the “Unix login”
field matching the Unix account you’re using. Or at least it
should be.

Actually, RT 3.0’s cli lets you specify the RT username and password you
want to be using. The ‘unix username’ doesn’t really figure into the
new http-based CLI.
