Change working Domain

Hi there,

one question from a RT-newbie

I installed RT and it’s working just fine, really a great thing. But there’s
one quite odd thing: I configured it using one of the domains on the server.
Now it shall be used for another one.

I corrected all the Apache-Stuff and it’s working fine.
I also changed the RT-SiteConfig.pm to the new Settings (reflected correctly
in Config → Tools → System Config) and of course the mail-aliases.

All works fine - only the Mails RT generates do only partly reflect the
changes:
The “reply-to” / “from” ist correct.

But:
In the Subject and an the URLs generated within the mails, it still reflects
the old Domain-name (and thus produces not-working links)

And: This is only the case when I create a ticket from webfrontend. Tickets
created by mail have the correct Domain.

How can that be? Aren’t they generated out of the RT_SiteConfig.pm
Information?? Have I got to change sth in the database?

I looked over the DB and found, that the items in the table “Transactions”
are created with the old domain as a localpart (Data-Field).
Well, I kind of don’t know any further here - any suggestions? Thanks for
your help in advance,

Greetings, Jan

Did you restart your web server?

Also make sure you’ve updated the individual queue’s correspondance
and comment addresses.

Hi Andy,

Did you restart your web server?

Yes… OhmyGod: The wrong one.
Restarted the right one - works.

Really, I should have got this idea by myself

Thank you very much, that was really great! I just got a piece of cake and
the problem’s solved - Wow.

Many greetings to wherever you hang out.

Jan
