Folks:
If my earlier message hasn’t been posted to the list, please ding it. I answered
my own question after some quiet reflection and actually following the
instructions literally.
Thanks.

Folks:
I’m attempting to install RT on MacOS X, and hit a couple roadblocks early on. I
untar/unzip the file into /tmp and attempt to check the dependencies.
- As suggested in the install guide, I enter:
cd /tmp/rt
make testdeps
and I get “make: nothing to be done for ‘testdeps’”
- I also began to check around for the fixdeps file (because it’s a brand new
install of MacOS X, and doesn’t have much of CPAN pre-installed), but couldn’t
find the ‘fixdeps’ file anywhere in the 2.0.8 distribution.
I haven’t been doing Unix stuff for very long, so I’m hopeful the answer a) will
be simple, and b) I’ll learn something. Many thanks!
