Cannot add members to groups

Hello,

I-m using RT 3.6.4 with LDAP authentication and information against
Active Directory… the problem I found is that, when I go to
Config->Groups->Members, I cannot select users to add to the group…
I can only select two users: “root” (from DB) and “user1” (from
LDAP)… “user1” was marked as “privileged”… but the other users
from LDAP which are not privileged cannot be selected…

Sorry,

I found out that only privileged users can be made members of my
custom groups… but I don’t want privileged users to be able to
Configure the system… can I disable access to “Configure” menu?

What are you trying to do? By and large, privileges are reserved for

privileged users, therefore an un-privileged user cannot be granted
rights nor added to a group that has rights. They are already in a group
called “Unprivileged Users” and some rights can be granted to them
globally or on a queue basis, like creating tickets, seeing tickets in a
queue, etc. as far as configuration is concerned, try granting that
right to a select few “privileged users”, perhaps a group of specific
users on a global basis. Hope this helps.
