Bug in Cc user lookup on ticket creation

Using the web interface I created a ticket with the following information
for the Cc: field:
^ note the space
Both email addresses belong to registered users in rt.
When viewing the people information for the created ticket the Cc fields
for the ticket contain:

My guess is that the space in front of the user2 is used in the email
address when looking for a registered user.
