yes and no, I decided to re-install the machine, I am now running RedHat 7.1
with Sendmail 8.11.2 and set
rt-mailgate softlink in /etc/smrsh, which works now.

I removed sendmail 8.11.4 and replaced it with 8.10.2, also resulting in the
same problem. I noticed that Lars Leuchter has a similar problem, have you
