All good things must end

Hi,

Well the Management of where I work has bought a ticket tracking system so
RT will be used only for a short period of time. I would like to thank
Jessie and all others for all the help. I would also appreciate if you could
repost the information on getting removed from the rt-users mailing list.

Thanks,

Robert

Question: did they look into “buying” RT… as in support fee? Did they even
consider it… if yes, why and what else did they choose over RT? If no, why
not?
Asking because of my management…

What will [attempt to] take the place of RT?

My company had a similar idea, but RT won.

look at the footer of every message posted to the list (except,
perhaps your own multi-part HTML message…)

A similar as with our friend who said he was going to drop RT and go
elsewhere, what prompted management to make this change?

Most of our bosses are happy that we have it working and is not costing
them much of anything.

Your company must like to waste money. We couldn’t live with out
RT at work… I liked it so much I set it up on my machine at home to
manage all my mailing lists.
