2.1.82 troubles

I’ve been using rt3beta on a trial basis with my helpdesk group
for the almost a month now. I’d been seeing some troubles with the
scrips not seeming to be handled properly in 2.1.76 so I just now upgraded
to 2.1.82.

I’m not seeing any correspondence when I click on a ticket, either for new
tickets or for ones from the older version. A look in MySQL shows that
they’re still there (whew) in the database. Also, any time I add
correspondence I see entries like

Fri Mar 07 14:37:11 2003 RT_System - Status changed from open to open

which I didn’t used to get.

How do I get the correspondence displayed again, and are the status change
messages by design, or a bug?

Relevant stats:
Redhat 7.2
Apache 1.3.27
MySql 3.23.54
Perl 5.6.1
all dependencies checked out okay

I can’t find any RT3 log files – how do I configure that anyhow?

Thanks,

Peter

Yep. I was a bit disoriented. Is the display of text configurable – I
liked the old way of history display.

I assume you could undo the changes. But I’m just a user like you.
Perhaps Jesse or team member could provide more feedback.

Peter, do you notice that there is a big white area where the ticket
used to be? I think either this area should not be there making the
history smaller or the text should be visable.

Matt

It’s a bug related to a new feature I’m dropping in for a customer.
Should be resolved late tonight. On Fri, Mar 07, 2003 at 02:08:24PM -0800, Matt Simonsen wrote:
